Support
Need help with ClearCal?
The fastest route: most issues fall into one of three buckets — setup, billing, or permissions. Start there first, then contact us if you still need help.
1. Start with the right path
Getting started
Install ClearCal in Chrome, click Connect, and sign in with Google. ClearCal runs in the Chrome extension and updates your Google Calendar colours directly.
Subscriptions
To cancel or manage a paid plan, open the ClearCal extension popup and click Manage billing. If something looks wrong, contact support with your order details.
Permissions & access
ClearCal processes calendar data in your browser. If you want to remove access, disconnect it in the extension or remove it from your Google Account permissions.
2. Common help topics
- Colours not showing where you expect — ClearCal writes colours back to the Google Calendar event itself, so once applied they should appear anywhere that syncs with Google Calendar.
- You want to stop using ClearCal — disconnect the extension, or remove access from your Google Account permissions.
- You need to cancel a paid plan — open the extension and use Manage billing.
- You need a refund — contact support with your order details and a short description of the issue.
- You have a privacy question — use the privacy contact route below for data rights or policy questions.
3. Contact support
If the steps above do not solve it, send a support request with enough detail for us to reproduce the issue quickly.
- What happened — one or two sentences is enough.
- What plan you are on — Free, Pro, or Lifetime.
- Which Google account is affected — the email address tied to the issue.
- Anything that helps us reproduce it — screenshots, exact steps, or what you expected to happen instead.
Billing and refund requests are typically answered within 2 business days.
