ClearCal is a Chrome extension for people whose calendar is busy enough that the default Google Calendar view stops being useful. It reads your upcoming events, classifies them by meeting type, and writes the colour back to the Google Calendar event itself.

The result is a calendar that communicates context at a glance. Customer calls, internal group meetings, 1:1s, focus blocks, and weekend events can each stand out before you open the event details.

Privacy-first by design

Classification runs in the Chrome extension. Calendar events are fetched from Google Calendar to your browser, and ClearCal's server is used for sign-in and licence checks rather than storing your calendar content.
